Im so angry right now

Just let the dogs into the garden as usual ... I noticed Toffee over in the corner eating something .... almost as soon as id spotted him he started to choke.
I rushed over , noticed a whole chicken carcass on the ground and wise or not stuck my hand into his mouth and managed to find a chicken bone that had lodged in his throat

To say im p****d off is an understatement
Who in hell would throw a cooked chicken carcass into someones garden ?
and why ?

My poor gorgeous dog could have died , it doesnt bear thinking about

I started shaking almost as soon as id got the bone out and havent stopped yet , though now its more from anger than anything else

The vet said to keep an eye on him for 24 hours and to check his poo for any irregularities or blood

I swear , I ever find the a*****e who threw a cooked chicken carcass into my garden there will be blood

  2. Wow That is just awful, so glad you noticed in time. Seems to me it was something done on purpose.Chicken carcasses don't just end up in people's yards.... Glad nothing happened to your precious dog.
    Big hugs Tammy

  3. how awful!! I feel for you, I really do, as I lost one of my own dogs to someone's stupidity. He ended up dying from poisoning; someone threw tainted meat onto our second floor balcony...I am glad that your dog is still alive, thanks to your quick thinking! Unfortunately, we live in a world where we have to always be on our toes!
All the best to you and your dogs!

  5. OMG! Who the F**K would throw that into a garden?! What "chicken" SH*Ts they are! That pisses me off too because I love reading and seeing the doggies. They are gorgeous. I'm so sorry this happened - give Toff a huge hug from me:)

  6. Oh, my goodness!!! It is lucky that you were able to keep Toffee from swallowing a bone. Know you would have stuck your hand in his mouth even if you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt you would be bitten. If you ever find out who did it, I will help you 'sock-em and rock-em'!!! So so many cruel people out there and they had to know that you had babies in your yard.

  7. I am shocked to hear that someone did this. I hope there was nothing in the chicken to cause your dog to die from eating the meat. I am sure your vet checked this out. I would be asking some questions from my next door neighbors. This was so dangerous to all 3 of your dogs. Constance

  8. Our creepy neighbors used to throw beer cans into our back yard where my could get them and chew on them. It's a good thing he seemed to have the digestive system of a goat.
People can be so stupid....or mean. :(

  9. We had that happen to one of our BC's - Draco - but it was in our own house! We used to give them Rawhide Strips (about 2 x 4 inches in size) and Draco is the one that will wolf his food down and he does the same thing w/ treats. Well, he got a piece stuck in his throat because he didn't chew it well enough...I was in the bathroom getting ready for work and I heard this awful sound coming from the dining room. Went in there and he was choking, not breathing, tongue was steadily getting blue. Grabbed him and shoved my hand down his throat and dislodged what was in there. He started breathing again thank god...but the hindsight to this is they (I have to BC's, brothers) will never get another rawhide or anything like that again. Scared me to death. If this had happened not 10 minutes later he would have died because I would have been gone to work!! I still feel the terror of what happened. So I empathize completely. I can understand how you felt. I'm so very glad that your baby is ok.
BUT yes, people can be extraordinarily mean and cruel. Inhumane. We live out in the "boonies" (meaning away from most people in the woods) so we don't see and they don't see very many humans. Most people have a gun out here so strangers don't walk up to peoples homes because they could very easily be shot or something lol. Again, I'm so very happy that your babies are fine. Hugs, Teresa
