I didnt really have time to take any decent pics today cos its been raining like mad and I didnt want to risk the camera getting wet , but I managed to get these two of her in her new Julius K9 harness .... of course I had to get her the Diva logo to go with it , lol

A message to my dogs

I know its raining outside so im keeping you indoors and not letting you play in the garden inbetween walks and that makes me evil 

I dont mind , being your Mum means I sometimes appear evil when I dont always let you do what you want

I also know you have tons of excess energy , and I dont mind that the three of you are zooming around the house without a care in the world , but I do lament the loss of my fave coffee mug after you crashed into me making me drop it (its lucky there wasnt any hot coffee in it)

I also mind going into my bedroom and seeing a bed that was nicely made up this morning , now has the duvet and sheet spread all over the floor covered in dog hair , and even the mattress is making an escape for the door and has fur on it

And then going into the kids bedroom (Its still their room for when they visit) and finding the same thing has happened in there

You win ... ive tidied up , remade the beds & closed the bedroom doors ... Go get wet in the garden , I can handle muddy paw marks and water splashes on the walls far better than being terrorised by three bored border collies

Indoor Bubblefest

What can you do when its raining and you have bored dogs ... easy , you have an indoor bubblefest :D

Teddy just wasnt interested in the bubbles

 Still not interested , lol

I did seem to focus more on Gypsy ... but thats because it was the first time she showed any real interest in the bubbles :)

What do you mean theres no more bubbles *sobs*

One thing I forgot about mentioning .... indoor bubblefests may be great fun for the dogs and for you to watch , but afterwards they had fun watching me wiping bubble marks off the walls *grumbles*

By the way , incase anyone is interested I use watered down Johnsons baby shampoo , the dogs dont seem to mind and they smell lovely afterwards , lol

Its a hard life if you're a dog :p

My Daughter treated the dogs to a pressie yesterday , a new bubble blower ... so we took it onto the field for them , along with the tunnel and hurdles and other various toys , as there were enough of us , along with my Grandkids , to carry everything there (normally the dogs only have one thing to play with on the field as its a struggle for me to carry it all along with walking three dogs and using a cane for me , lol)

Its definately been the dogs week this week , cos their new toys arrived too

Teddy and Gypsy decided they both wanted the alligator , it has 16 squeaks in its body) 

whilst Toffee laid claim to the gecko (4 squeakers in its body and a bell and rattle in its tail)

So all in all ... spoilt little so-and-so's arent they :D

Thank god for my dogs

I'm on my own all the time , and I haven't spoken to one person face-to-face for ages ... phoning someone is all well and good but its not the same , infact it just reminds me how alone I truly am 

All I can say is Thank gawd for my dogs 

They never fail to make me smile and laugh ... If I cry they are instantly all over me giving me licks and puppy cuddles and they give me a reason to get out of bed every morning

My dogs have been voted first place in a pic of the month contest on one of the pet forums im a member of

Its just a bit of fun ... their pic stays on the homepage for that month as a prize , but im still proud of my babies :)
